![]() ![]() It's not the color of the ribbon that matters; it's the color of the ride! CFS trainer/instructor, Laura Carson, realized at an early age that the most important aspect of the equestrian sport is your relationship with your horse. All riders that come to Clarcona Farm learn the importance of treating horses with kindness and consideration. By providing a kind and positive structured learning environment, students are free to work towards their own goals as individuals. Laura sponsors the farm's Horse Club, offering riders the opportunity to gain new equine skills or brush up on their old ones. The club meetings are bi-monthly on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. For additional information, please contact Laura Carson at LCPegasus@aol.com The Farm offers riding instruction year round and in many different riding disciplines. Whether you are a beginner or an accomplished rider, there is a program suitable for you. Private, one hour lessons are offered for $45. At CFS, our riding school program hosts academy shows located at the Farm. These shows are relaxed and informal family fun filled days. These shows are used as a learning tool for all riders to gain experience in an exciting atmosphere. The shows are very economical and family friendly. Did we mention they are fun? We also attend local C rated shows hosted by local organizations. Many of these are within a few miles of the farm at Clarcona Horseman's Park. These shows range from Dressage to Hunter Jumpers and Open English and Western shows. For our most competitive riders, we attend A rated shows sanctioned by the United States Equestrian Federation. These shows include dressage, hunter jumpers, and western. |
